Babbitt Safety Wheel

Babbitt's specially designed Safety Wheel eliminates the potential hazard of a falling handwheel to which a Babbitt adjustable sprocket is attached. It provides the added security of a secondary attachment process in case the primary attachment method fails. The unique design of the Safety Wheel is a considerable improvement over conventional tethering methods. With a Babbitt Safety Wheel, the chainwheel and handwheel are suspended at a safe over-head distance until replacement or reattachment.
